<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner in which a mistake of insertion is prevented by surely inserting a plurality of leads formed on a laser diode into the lead insertion holes formed on a laser driving circuit substrate. <P>SOLUTION: A guide member 14 for lead has a guide hole 14c for lead insertion which is so formed that the diameter of a lead entrance 14e, into which a plurality of leads 2c provided on a laser diode 2 are inserted, is larger than the diameter of a lead exit 14f. The respective leads 2c are projected from the lead exit 14f along the substantially cylindrical shape which a lead exit part 14i has. A laser holder 9 is positioned with respect to a laser driving circuit substrate 10 and fitted so that the formed position of the lead exit 14f matches the position of a hole 10b for lead insertion, and the respective projected leads 2c are easily and surely inserted into the hole 10b for lead insertion formed on the laser driving circuit substrate 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
