<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor controller which enables the miniaturization of a current sensor. <P>SOLUTION: The motor controller is provided with a motor 1 constituting one phase by connecting a winding circuit including at least one stator coil 6, here, a stator coil 18, in parallel, a current sensor 20 provided one at least one of winding circuits, and a first calculation means 31 for calculating a phase current value from the detected value of the current sensor 20. The partial current value is detected in each phase by one current sensor 20.
