PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sales prediction method, sales prediction program and sales prediction device capable of qualitatively predicting sales from a design.

SOLUTION: Existing design image information relating to an existing product is associated with marketing information corresponding to the existing product and stored in an existing design information database 110 as existing design information. The image distance (similarity) between new design image information relating to a new product and each existing design information stored in the existing design information database 110 is calculated, and the sales of the new product is predicted based on the marketing information corresponding to the existing design having the shortest image distance (the highest similarity).
