摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for developing an electrostatic charge image in a two-component development method by which such distribution of charge amounts that hardly causes staining and/or toner scattering can be obtained by using a carrier having excellent wear resistance of the carrier coating film, having a stable charge imparting function for a long period of time, and causing no fluctuation in electrification and by using a developing unit circulating the developer in a loop. <P>SOLUTION: The carrier of the two-component developer consists of a magnetic fine power material and a coating film comprising a condensation product prepared from the following mixture on the surface of the powder material. The mixture contains N-alkoxyalkylated polyamide and a resin which contains silicone having a silanol group and/or hydrolyzable group and which can react with the above polyamide. The developer consisting of the above carrier and toner is supplied to a developing sleeve by using a developer carrying means to mix, stir, and carry the developer by a stirring member which circulates the developer in a loop in both sides of a partition member parallel to the axial direction of the developing sleeve which supplies the developer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
