GASIFICATION RECOVERY SYSTEM FOR METHANE HYDRATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasification recovery system for methane hydrate capable of making a ratio of an energy required for decomposition to a recovered energy larger.

SOLUTION: In this gasification recovery system for methane hydrate, a thermal energy is fed to methane hydrate existing in a ground under an ocean floor and methane hydrate is gasified and recovered. A base station 30 provided with a feed means 31 for feeding warm water to methane hydrate; a recovery means 31 for recovering methane gas obtained from methane hydrate; a reforming separation means 35 for reforming the recovered methane gas by heating and separating it to hydrogen gas and carbon dioxide; a feed out means 40 for feeding out the hydrogen gas obtained at the reforming separation means on the ground or on the sea; and a returning means 32 for returning carbon dioxide obtained at the reforming separation means into the ground under the ocean floor, is installed on the ocean floor. A heating source of warm water and methane gas is made common.
