<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system and its control method capable of efficiently heating a fuel cell to a desired operation temperature at low temperature, and of inexpensively and easily extending a service life. <P>SOLUTION: The temperature of a cooling medium supplied to a fuel cell stack 22 through a circulation passage 24 is detected by a temperature sensor 44; the load of a pump 28 is detected by a pump load sensor 54; the cooling medium is heated by a combustor 36 by setting the temperature in a range below a specified value; the flow rate of the cooling medium is controlled so as to be increased by the pump 28 by setting the load in a range below a specified value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
