PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an isolation valve capable of protecting a valve element. SOLUTION: In this isolation valve 50, a stopper part 63 formed on a spring bearing 60 is applied to a bearing part 64 formed in an outside cylinder wall 51A, so that move of the valve element 58 downward is regulated. Even in a case where pressure difference between the primary side and the secondary side becomes excessively large, the stopper part 63 is applied to the bearing part 64, so that a packing member 53P can thus be forcedly regulated from biting a valve seat 57. Generation of local cracking over resiliency limit of the packing member 53P, or generation of uneven abrasion in the packing member 53P can be prevented to protect the valve element 58.
