PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food slicer wherein clearance between a round cutter 3 and supply units 6a and b of food is easily cleaned, food chips remaining in the clearance is easily removed, and a tool post 2 is moved by light force. SOLUTION: A guide table 10 is fixed to a machine base 1, and has a sliding surface having an upper surface becoming a circular arc on a concentric circle with a driving shaft of a motor 4b as the center. The tool post 2 is placed on the guide table 10. Since a bottom surface of the tool post 2 is formed into a recessed surface so as to be slidable on the sliding surface of the guide table 10, the tool post 2 and the round cutter 3 are moved by inclining them forward in the cutting surface direction along the sliding surface.
