PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas-type drier which houses gas cylinders in a completely separate space in a handle from a space in which functional elements such as devices related to turning on/off gas and ignition, and a power switch are housed, to thereby enlarge the size of the gas cylinders and prevent failures of the functional elements. SOLUTION: The gas-type drier is formed of a cylindrical casing 2 having a blowing section 3 and an intake section 4, and housing therein a burner 5, an igniter 6, and a motor 8; and the hollow long-cylindrical handle 18 connected to the cylindrical casing, and has a partition plate 20 partitioning the interior thereof into an upper spatial section 21 and a lower spatial section 22. Then the upper spatial section has arranged therein a gas channel opening/closing means and an electric circuit opening/closing means, and the lower spatial section has detachably mounted gas cylinders 31a, 31b, 31c.
