<p>A method for predicting the fatigue life of a spot-welded structure, wherein a finite element analysis shell model of a spot-welded structure is created, a finite element method linear elasticity analysis is conducted by using the created finite element analysis model, a nominal structure stress in a nugget portion at the center of the spot-welded part is determined on the basis of the circular plate bending theory and two-dimensional elasticity theory of theory of elasticity from the shared load on the nugget portion and the displacement on the circle of diameter (D) the center of which is the nugget portion, and the fatigue life is predicted based on the nominal structure stress. By this method, the fatigue life of a spot-welded structure can be predicted simply, quickly, and accurately.</p> |
