A radiation shielding material is provided to improve neutron shielding function by uniformly dispersing metal element having nano size particle in melting paraffin. A radiation shielding material comprises a first and a second non-permeability resin layers(1) and a neutron shielding layer(2). The first and the second non-permeability resin layers are made of polyolefin resin including polyolefin resin or inorganic material. The neutron shielding layer is a gel type sheet. The sheet is manufactured through mixing/extrusion/foaming. A meshed air bubble is formed with an extension of the sheet. The sheet having a meshed air bubble structure is dipped in melting paraffin, and is sealed between the non-permeability resin layers. |
