PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for driving an electrooptical panel that can make a plurality of display panels display respectively with a simpler system configuration, and to provide an electrooptical device, a method for driving the device for driving the electrooptical panel, a method for driving the electrooptical device, and an electronic apparatus.

SOLUTION: A mobile telephone set 11 is equipped with a signal generation part which generates a switching signal CS for specifying either of a main panel 16 and a subpanel 24 and serial data SD to be supplied to the panel selected with the switching signal CS. Then the mobile telephone set 11 is equipped with a selector 14 which supplies the serial data SD selectively to a display controller 15 or 23 which drives the panel 16 or 24 selected with the switching signal CS.
