<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality detecting device of an electric fan capable of surely detecting the abnormality of an electric fan using a current, without being affected by the fluctuation of a power source voltage. <P>SOLUTION: The abnormality detecting device comprises current detectors 102a and 102b for detecting the current flowing electric fans 101a and 101b, a table 110 where a voltage-current characteristics of the electric fan is set and an estimated current Iref is acquired and outputted from the voltage-current characteristics based on the output signals of the voltage detectors 102a and 102b, adders/subtracters 104a and 104b which output a difference between the output signal of the current detectors 102a and 102b and the estimated current Iref outputted from the table 110, and comparators 103 and 103b which compare the output signal of the adders/subtracters 104a and 104b with a pre-set value, and output "normal" signal if the output signal of the adders/subtracters 104a and 104b is equal to the set value or lower while output "abnormal" signal if the output signal of the adders/subtracters 104a and 104b exceed the set value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
