PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a playing instrument for an ensemble that realizes an ensemble playing excluding a vicious circle due to a chain of playing information arrival delays. SOLUTION: This playing instrument for an ensemble is equipped with: a delay time measurement part 30 which measures a communication delay time; a transmission part 31 which transmits the playing information of its playing instrument to other players as it is; a reception part 32 which receives playing information from other players; a mixing part 33 which delays its playing information according to the measured delay time and also mixes it with the playing information received from other playing instrument; and an output part 34 which outputs musical sounds to this playing instrument according to the mixed playing information.
