PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten image generating time and to improve S/N of an imaging signal of an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus. SOLUTION: At a pulse generating section 5 and a signal generating section 6 of the ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus using dynamic focusing, a frequency and an amplitude form are set to make the level of a frequency spectrum of other signals below a predefined level in the central frequency of each frequency spectrum of a plurality of transmission signals. These transmission signals are generated at a predefined interval in the order of high frequencies within transmittable time of each transmitting and receiving repetition cycle and a transmission ultrasound beam is formed to send from a probe 1. As for a receiving signal, a frequency analysis is conducted by an FFT14 on a receiving ultrasound beam output from an adding section 10 to extract a central frequency element of each transmission signal and arrange them chronologically. For each of the time-series signals, a cross-correlation process is conducted at a correlation processing section 15 and imaging signals on 1 ultrasound line are generated.
