PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of sliding noises of a seal part and deterioration of a performance due to abrasion because a gap is sealed by the seal part in a elevator hall door device holding a smoke shielding performance. SOLUTION: An electromagnet is arranged at any one of a portion opposed to a door panel and a portion opposed to a hall jamb in closing the door panel on a back face of an elevator shaft of the hall jamb. A magnetic substance is projectably arranged to the other one. The magnetic substance is stored at a normal time, and sucked at the time of energizing the electromagnet so as to project to close the gap. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
