PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detached housed to be constructed on a continuous footing, the beauty and durability of which are enhanced by reducing cracks in the continuous footing and which secures high quality, and a work execution method for the continuous footing. SOLUTION: This detached house 1 comprises a column 7 which is basically fixed between the continuous footing 2 and the column 7 of the detached house via a horizontally slidable connecting part 8 and which is equipped with a horizontally-long connecting hole as the connecting part 8, and a low-friction material 10 which is sandwiched between an undersurface of the column and the continuous footing 2; a horizontal sliding member 6, which is composed of the low-friction material and a low-rigidity material, is also interposed between ground 3 and the continuous footing 2; and a brace 5, which connects the columns with each other, is arranged while a prescribed interval is kept between the brace 5 and a top surface of the continuous footing.
