PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart multiple functions to a bucket of a power shovel or the like, which are fitted for discarded material cleanup work, and pinching and transportation of long materials, associated with civil engineering works. SOLUTION: The attachment 10 is detachably attached to the bucket 2 which is mounted on a front end of an arm 1 of the power shovel or the like, and carries out rotational operation at the front end of the arm upon driving of a hydraulic cylinder 4. The attachment has a pinching section 12 formed so as to face an opening of the bucket. To deal with the long materials 30 such as the discarded materials, the long materials are gripped or pinched by the bucket opened as indicated by the chain line and the pinching section, and prevents fall of the materials by an engaging section 13 curved toward the bucket and a claw at the tip of the bucket. To attach the attachment to the arm, an attachment proximal end 11 is pressed to a fixed substrate 20 fixed to the front end of the arm, and the former is slid in a longitudinal direction to engage with the latter, followed by fastening the former and the latter to each other by means of bolts or the like.
