METHOD FOR PRE-TREATING EDIBLE BIRD BEFORE REMOVING FEATHER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily remove feathers of edible birds (chicken, etc.) and also clean the birds by the efficient removal of soiling materials attached on the birds by adopting specific functional water as treating water used for the pre-treatment of the birds before the feather removal treatment. SOLUTION: This method for pre-treating the edible birds is provided by adopting strongly alkaline electrolytically produced alkaline water produced by an electrolysis with diaphragm, as the treating water used for the pre-treatment of the birds which are immersion-treated with the treating water for aiming at the easy removal of the feathers and cleaning of the birds.
