PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing line guide mechanism for a spinning reel, with which an increase in a manufacturing cost is controlled. SOLUTION: A bail arm 34 for the spinning reel has a bail 41, a stationary shaft 43 fixed to a first bail supporting member 40, a line roller 44 supported on the stationary shaft 43 and a stationary shaft cover 46 covering the stationary shaft 43. The stationary shaft cover 46 has a hole part 46a opened to a tip part 46b. The bail 41 has a bar-like part 41a, a first expansion part 41b integrally equipped with the bar-like part 41a and a mounting part 41c which is arranged as a separate body at the tip of the first expansion part 41b and has a diameter smaller than that of the first expansion part 41b. The mounting part 41c is a bar-like member in which one end part 41f is mounted on the mounting recessed part 41h of the first expansion part 41b and the other end 41g is mounted on the hole part 46a of the stationary shaft cover 46.
