The aim of the invention is to create a device for inspecting structural parts, which allows drilled holes having different diameters and depths to be inspected without said device having to be immersed into the drilled hole. Said aim is achieved by the fact that said device comprises an imaging optical system consisting of a forward imaging system and a rear imaging system, the position of which relative to one another can be varied. The entrance diaphragm of the entire imaging system is reproduced in front of the first optically effective area while the zone of the drilled hole, which is to be examined, is reproduced onto an electronic receiver and means are provided for coupling an illuminating beam path into the optical image. The invention relates to a device for examining mechanical structural parts that are provided with recesses and/or perforations, especially for examining drilled holes.
