PURPOSE: A kettle for cooking food is provided to prevent food from being scorched by filling a space between the kettle and an outer case with heat carrier powder and uniformly heating the kettle. CONSTITUTION: A kettle(20) is coupled to the upper part of a box-shaped brazier(10), and is heated by a burner(13). The burner is mounted at the inside of the brazier, and is injected into the inside of the brazier through a fire hole formed at the front of the brazier. A lid(21) is coupled to the top of the kettle. An outer case(30) made of stainless steel is coupled to the outer surface of the kettle at a predetermined interval. Heat carrier powder(40) is filled into the interval between the iron pot and the outer case, and has high heat-transfer rate and high thermal insulation. A plurality of wheels(14) are mounted to the lower part of the brazier to easily move the kettle to a desired position.
