<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a weatherstrip with a molded part formed at the end part of a linear weatherstrip wherein an injection of a molding material for molding is carried out smoothly and a good productivity without necessity of an after processing is attained. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a weatherstrip comprises steps of injecting a molding material into a cavity 38 forming a bottom wall 12 of a glass run 10 from a plurality of a spure gate 36 assembled at an upper side of a mold 30, of forming a protruding part on a cavity 38 forming a bottom wall 12 of the glass run 10 interfering with the spure gate 36, of making capable of injecting the molding material directly or through a short gate into the cavity 38 from the spure gate 36 and of cutting the molding material at the connecting part of the spure gate 36 to with the cavity 38 on opening the mold opening. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
