<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily select a template and incorporate a picture into the template and to easily replace the picture incorporated in the template with a desired picture. <P>SOLUTION: When the selected template is displayed in a layout editing region 93, an order is set in an incorporation region where the picture of the template is incorporated. When a user selects the picture from a picture display region 96a and operates an "arrangement" key 94a, the pictures are incorporated in the incorporation region in the queuing order of the pictures selected in the order of the incorporation region of the template. When any of the pictures incorporated in the incorporation region is replaced with any of the pictures displayed on the picture display region 96a, the incorporation region and the picture are selected, and an "replace" key 94b is operated so as to replace the picture.
