<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an image in a short period of time while suppressing the deterioration of image quality as small as possible, besides, to form an image of high resolution. <P>SOLUTION: The electrophotographic device is provided with photoreceptors 47a and 47b around which a plurality of toner image forming means are respectively arranged, an intermediate transfer belt 67 traveling around forward in the rotating direction of the photoreceptors 47a and 47b and on which the toner images formed on the respective photoreceptors 47a and 47b are transferred in the overlapped state, transfer rollers 55a and 55b for transferring the toner image transferred on the intermediate transfer belt 67 to the recording paper 42. Besides, the device is provided with a first mode of forming a plurality of color toner images on the photoreceptors 47a and 47b in the overlapped state while the photoreceptors 47a and 47b are rotated once, and then, transferring the toner images to the intermediate transfer belt 67 in a batch, and a second mode of repeating an operation of forming monochromatic toner images on the photoreceptors 47a and 47b while the photoreceptors 47a and 47b are rotated once, and transferring the monochromatic toner images to the intermediate transfer belt 67 several times. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
