<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water soluble new aromatic azide compound and a photosensitive monomer derived from the same. <P>SOLUTION: This new aromatic azide compound is expressed by general formula (I) [wherein, X is Na, K or NH<SB>4</SB>; and R1, R2 are the same or different and are each H, hydroxy or a ≤5C alkoxy, preferably methoxy or ethoxy] and the photosensitive monomer is expressed by general formula (II) [wherein, R1, R2 are each H, hydroxy or methoxy; X is Na, K or NH<SB>4</SB>; and Y is an unsaturated hydrocarbon group such as methacryloy, acryloyl or the like] which is derived from the (I) as a constituting unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
