摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical axis direction automatic adjustment device of a headlight for a vehicle not imparting a sense of incompatibility to a driver by making adjustment by the swivel of a headlight (headlight) exactly in accordance with the variation of a road condition and capable of also adjusting it for a driver's desire. <P>SOLUTION: The optical axis direction of each of the headlights 10L, 10R is swivelled and adjusted to a right/left direction parallel to a horizontal direction based on a swivel control angle relating to operation responsiveness for adjusting the optical axis direction of each of the head lights 10L, 10R obtained making a steering angle detected by a steering angle sensor 18 and a vehicle speed based on a left wheel speed by a left wheel speed sensor 16L and a right wheel speed by a right wheel speed sensor 16R as parameters by one map automatically selected in accordance with front road information for a navigation system 15 of a plurality of different maps memorized in an ROM 22 in an ECU 20.
