PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a polarizing lens capable of insuring a stable uniformity of a lens product owing to making a strain formation of a molded lens difficult by making a density homogeneous together with by capable of securely positioning a polarizing film and arranging it to the mold, and a mold used for it. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the polarizing lens comprises steps of hot pressing the polarizing film 2 formed as a shape corresponding to a movable part 12 to make a curved shape fitting to a curve of the lens, of making a sunk hole H by going the movable part 12 down from the face of the lens curve, of inserting the polarizing film 2 formed to the curved shape into the sunk hole H and closing the mold 1. Next, the step comprises filling a resin M at a molten state for molding the lens into a runner 13a connecting to the mold 1, injecting the resin into a cavity of the mold 1 from a gate 13 and taking out a lens prime Lb connecting and unifying the polarizing film 2 when the molding resin M is cured.
