COOLING DEVICE FOR CONSTRUCTION MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noises generated by cooling air blown out from a cooling fan. SOLUTION: A stay 70 of a roughly U-shape section swelling out in a outer diameter direction is attached to an engine 42. A fan ring 62 is provided around the cooling fan 45, and an engine side flange part 62b of the fan ring 62 is supported by the engine 42 via the stay 70. A fan guard 75 of roughly U-shape section is internally abutted on an inside of the stay 42, and the fan guard 75 and the fan ring 62 are fastened to the stay 70 by a bolt 73 and a nut 74. Flow speed of cooling air passing the cooling fan 45 reduces as it goes toward centrifugal direction. Since cooling air impinges on the stay 70 and the fan guard 75 at a part where flow speed is low, the noises are low. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
