PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a media driving device capable of easily performing tilt adjustment of the optical axis of an optical pickup with respect to an information recording surface of a medium while the device is made small. SOLUTION: A base plate 2 is provided with a screw shaft 5 and a guide shaft 5 in parallel, and the screw shaft 5 and the guide shaft 6 support the both sides of the optical pickup 4. Also, the base plate 2 is provided with a supporting part 20 for supporting one end part of the screw shaft 5 at a worm gear 10 side, and a supporting part 22 for supporting the other end part of the screw shaft 5. The supporting part 20 has an elastic member 17 for pressing the screw shaft 5 in the axial direction of a turntable 3, and the supporting part 22 comprises an elastic member 18 and a tilt adjustment screw 21 facing each other with a collar 23 sandwiched in the axial direction of the turntable 3. One end part of the screw shaft 5 is fitted into a bearing member 23 in a freely turnable way, and the bearing member 23 is pressed toward the tilt adjustment screw 21 by elastic member 18.
