PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the holding power of a male connector housing and a female connector housing in a fitting state. SOLUTION: A pair of fitting detection terminals 24 are provided on the top of the male connector housing 21. An incomplete fitting detection member 90 having a metal short circuit terminal 71 and a resin locking member 81 is incorporated into the female connector housing 41. The locking member 81 has a projection part 84 for engaging to the male connector housing 21 when the male connector housing 21 and the female connector housing 41 are properly fitted. The projection part 84 can be moved with a part of the short circuit terminal 71 by fixing the locking member 81 to the short circuit terminal 71. The short circuit terminal 71 and the fitting detection terminals 24 abut each other when the male connector housing 21 and the female connector housing 41 are properly fitted.
