PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the color shift in a color image including a specific color in addition to the normal colors. SOLUTION: A plurality of developing parts 4 for developing color component images more than the number of image forming engines are arranged in an entire image forming engine 1, and a normal color developing part 5 (5a to 5d in this example) for developing the normal color image and a specific color developing part 6 for developing a specified color image are included in the plurality of developing parts 4, and the specific color developing part 6 for developing the specific color image which is impossible to be detected or defective is incorporated with the corresponding image forming engine 1 (1a in this example) together with other developing parts 4 (normal color developing part 5a in this example) for developing the detectable normal or specific color image.
