PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disaster prevention tile which enhances wind-resistant performance and waterproof performance. SOLUTION: In the plate-shaped disaster prevention tile, a cleat 7 of one disaster prevention tile 1 and an insertion part 8 of the other disaster prevention tile 1 horizontally adjacent to one disaster prevention tile 1 on the same step overlap each other in roofing; an engaging protrusion 16 of a lower disaster prevention tile 1D and an engaging insertion part 17 of an upper disaster prevention tile 1U are engaged with each other; the engaging insertion part 17 is integrally provided at the side end of the insertion part in such a manner that the thickness of the insertion part is reduced at the side end; a top surface of the engaging insertion part 17 is positioned at a lower level than that of the insertion part; and an undersurface of the engaging insertion part 17 is positioned at the same level as that of the insertion part.
