PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a technique for controlling development of pigmented epithelium on body surface of a fish body, particularly zebrafish so as to be able to readily observe kinetics of the inside of the fish body from the outside of the fish body. SOLUTION: The method for suppressing development of pigmented epithelium of fishes comprises breeding fishes having a pyramid and retinal rod of blue, green and red in an aquarium having white substrate.
