A hot and cool water supply apparatus is provided to increase heat transfer rate and withstand voltage characteristic and to prevent crack or dielectric breakdown due to the heat expansion/contraction by using a quartz tube heater. A hot and cool water supply apparatus comprises a hot water tank(17) supplied with water from a water reservoir(11) and storing hot water, a quartz tube heater(20) heating the water, and an extraction temperature change unit which maintains the hot water in the hot water tank at the set constant temperature when no request of hot water extraction is made by the user and discharges the hot water heated to the desired temperature through a water outlet(23) when the user requests hot water extraction. |
