A dental laboratory assembly (1) fabricates a crown green body by sintering in which there is an electrophoretic separation of particles from a suspension (S) onto a porous form (2). The assembly has an electrode (3a-3c) which locates within a detent (2a-2c) in the form (2). The assembly has a further electrode (5, 5) driving deposition of further particles from the suspension onto the electrode (5, 5).
