PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring a movement of an engine is provided to significantly reduce a manufacturing cost for the engine and to design a cylinder head gasket by taking characteristics of the engine into consideration. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for measuring a movement of an engine includes a jig(10), a gasket(15), a press(20), and a liner gauge(30). The jig(10) has a block(12) and a head(13) assembled with the block(12) in such a manner that a combustion chamber(11) having a volume identical to that of the engine is formed. The gasket(15) is interposed between the block(12) and the head(13). The press(20) is installed at one side of the block(12) so as to supply predetermined pressure into the combustion chamber(11).
