<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer housing container by which a container body storing developer is freely rotatably and stably supported, an amount of developer supplied to the body of an image forming apparatus is fixed to a possible degree regardless of an amount of stored developer, and the developer can be supplied to the main body of the image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A developer housing container 30 freely detachably mounted on the image forming apparatus includes a container body 31 that has a cylindrical form for storing developer used for image formation, is provided with a discharge hole 43 for discharging developer, and rotates round an axial line L31, thereby conveying stored developer towards the discharge hole. The developer storage container 30 also includes a support member 32 that supports a part of the container body 31 including at least the discharge hole 43 over the entire circumference from radially outside so that the part is freely rotated round the axial line L31. The support member 32 has a guide hole 51 that guides the developer discharged from the discharge hole 43 of the container body 31 to the outside.
