<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas storage system capable of filling a storing vessel fitted with gas occluding material with much fuel gas while generation of wasteful energy is precluded. <P>SOLUTION: The gas storage system S is equipped with three tanks 1, 2, 3 for storing the fuel gas. The tanks 1, 2, 3 are furnished with intra-tank heat exchangers 16, 26, 36 to cool inside the tanks. Heat exchangers 4, 5, 6 are installed on gas flow pipes 14, 24, 34 connected with the gas inlets 12, 22, 32 of the tanks 1, 2, 3, and the intra-tank heat exchangers 16, 26, 36 are connected with the heat exchangers 4, 5, 6 through cooling water flow pipes 17, 27, 37 for the intra-tank heat exchangers and cooling water flow pipes 41, 51, 61 for the heat exchangers so that it is possible to supply the coldness in the heat exchangers 4, 5, 6 to the intra-tank heat exchangers 16, 26, 36. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
