CHARGE CONTROL METHOD OF NONAQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE BATTERY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein the performance of a cycle and safety after the cycle are remarkably degraded when pulse charge is applied to a nonaqueous electrolyte battery using a solid or gelatinous polymer electrolyte.

SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte battery is equipped with a porous polymer electrolyte on at least either of positive and negative electrode plates. This charge control method of the nonaqueous electrolyte battery comprises: a first process for charging the battery to a predetermined charge voltage with a constant current; and a second process for repeating constant-voltage charge and charge intermission.
