A contents service system and a method thereof are provided to offer the contents service by using a dongle device which has a storage function and transmission function, thereby increasing the communication sale. A dongle device comprises a memory unit(302), a dongle communication module(304), a power supply unit(306) and an FM transmission unit(308). The dongle communication module is mounted in a communication terminal to store data transmitted from the terminal in the memory unit. The dongle communication module transfers reproduced data to the communication terminal. The transmission unit transmits the reproduced data delivered through the communication terminal to an external reproducing device.
