<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner with a drain pan or a heat insulating material for reducing its nicks or damages and its manufacturing costs. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner comprises the drain pan 31 and the heat insulating material 34 to form a blowout air duct, an air outlet 41 formed corresponding to the blowout air duct, and a panel 33 covering the drain pan 31 and the heat insulating material 34, the drain pan 31 and the heat insulating material 34 being partially protruded from the air outlet 41 of the panel 33. The drain pan 31 is formed of white-colored foamed polystyrene and on its part protruded from the air outlet 41 a sheet 100 is mounted which has the same color as the sheet panel 33.
