PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator core for motor in which magnetization characteristics and iron loss are improved under a low magnetic field and the output of a motor is enhanced. SOLUTION: When a stator core manufactured using a non-oriented electromagnetic steel plate as a material is annealed, a magnetic field is applied to the stator core in the same direction as the exciting direction of the stator at the time of driving a motor in a temperature range from a point immediately above a Curie point to 300°C during a process for cooling the heated stator core. Since flux density is increased even under a low magnetic field, hysteresis loss is reduced and the total iron loss of the stator is enhanced.
