METHOD OF MANUFACTURING RESIN COMPOSITION HAVING EXCELLENT COLOR TONE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a resin composition giving an excellent color tone of a molding. SOLUTION: Emulsion polymerization of vinyl monomers is carried out in the coexistence of 0.01-2 mass parts of a hypophosphorous acid or a salt of the acid based on 100 mass parts of the monomers. The monomers preferably contain≥80 mass% of one or more monomers selected from acrylic and methacrylic esters and aromatic vinyl compounds. The polymer after emulsion polymerization is preferably recovered by an acid, a salt or freezing coagulation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
