PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily form a character, a figure, a symbol and a combination pattern of them on a surface of a sandy place irrespective of conditions of the sandy place, and to raise visibility of a pattern of the character, figure, symbol and the combination pattern of them which are formed on the surface of the sandy place of a seashore, a riverside, a park and the like. SOLUTION: A pattern P of pattern forming boards 14, 15 is formed on the surface of the sandy place by pressing the pattern forming boards 14, 15 wherein they are provided outside or inside substrates 11, 12 and the pattern of the concave and/or convex character, figure, symbol and their combination is formed, on the surface of the sandy place.
