PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the counter value of a counter in an R/D (resolver/digital converter) conversion IC agree with the counter value of a counter in a CPU (central processing unit) for motor control without providing a serial I/F signal wire. SOLUTION: This device has a constitution wherein, just after closing a CPU power source 5, or just after reset from momentary lowering of the CPU power source 5, the counter 20 in the R/D conversion IC 2 and the counter 30 in the CPU for motor control are reset, and then reset is released in the order of the counter 30 and the counter 20, and after a prescribed time from the reset release of the counter 20, the counter valueϕand the counter valueψof both counters 20, 30 agree with each other.
