PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance cooling performance of an entire compressor including an inverter by placing a special cooling fan inside a cooling air duct for the inverter. SOLUTION: A compression part 8, an electric motor 9, a compressor driver cooling fan 10, an inverter 11, and so on are mounted on a mounting table 5 in a package 1. An inverter cooling fan 14 is mounted on the lower surface of the mounting table 5. A cooling air duct 12 extends upward from the position surrounding the inverter 11 and the cooling fan 14. During the operation of the compressor, the inverter 11 is cooled by the cooling fan 14, and a hot air after the cooling is discharged to the outside through a discharge port 4 by the cooling air duct 12. This allows efficient cooling of the inverter 11 by the cooling fan 14 located under the inverter 11 and enhances cooling efficiency of the compression part 8, the electric motor 9, and so on by discharging the air after the cooling to the outside.
