PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spare tire carrier having a simple configuration and capable of being securely fixed to spare tires having different widths. SOLUTION: This spare tire carrier is provided with a spare tire carrier bar 2 whose one end side is pivotally supported on the lower face of a vehicle body and whose other end side can swing, an opening hole 11 formed at a vehicle body side, a first member 4 which has a head 6 on one end side and whose other end side is inserted into the opening hole 11 and extended downward, a second member 5 connected with the first member 4 so as to adjust a position in the vertical direction and having a hook 9 at a lower end, and a spacer 10 mounted annularly on the first member 4 and arranged by selecting either of a first position 13 and a second position 14. A clearance d between the other end of the first member 4 and the hook 9 is set to such a size that holds the spare tire carrier bar 2 so as to prevent its removal while the first member 4, the second member 5, and the spacer 10 are attached to a vehicle body side.
