PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support which regulates no turn of an object member supported by a bendable supporting part, is reliably locked to a locking member, and requires no large force when locked, and to provide a sunshade appliance having the support and a shielding plate. SOLUTION: The support 1 comprises a supporting part 2 having a bendable body 6 which is oscillatable and turnable by connecting a plurality of connection members 60 having a male part and a female part to each other, a locking part 3, and a locking belt 4 with one end part thereof fitted to the locking part 3 and a hook-and-loop fastener fitted on the other end part. The male part is spherical, the female part has a fitting hole, the inside diameter of an opening part of the fitting hole is smaller than the outside diameter of the male part, and the depth thereof is larger than the radius of the male part and smaller than the diameter thereof. The locking part has a holding member comprising two holding pieces and a screw shaft to be engaged with the holding pieces. The sunshade appliance has a shielding plate and the support 1.
