PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable printing to a desired position of a recording medium. SOLUTION: The inkjet printer 1 includes a paper feeding mechanism 11, a conveyance device 40 which conveys paper P sent out of the paper feeding mechanism 11, an inkjet head 2 which prints to the paper P conveyed by the conveyance device 40, a head moving mechanism 50 which moves the inkjet head 2 in a direction orthogonal to a conveyance direction A, and a photosensor 62 which senses one end 8 of the paper P.
